A car wash and car detailing might seem similar, but they’re quite different in what they offer. A car wash is mainly about cleaning the outside of your car. It usually involves a quick wash with soap and water, a rinse, and drying off. Sometimes, it includes a basic vacuum and dusting inside. The goal is to get rid of surface dirt and make your car look clean.

On the other hand, car detailing is much more thorough. It includes a deep clean of both the outside and inside of your car. For the exterior, this means washing, polishing, waxing, and sometimes fixing small scratches. For the interior, detailing involves deep cleaning the carpets and seats, conditioning the leather, and making sure every surface is spotless. The aim is to make your car look as good as new, inside and out. While a car wash is a quick and basic clean, car detailing gives your vehicle a complete and detailed makeover.

I approached Sheps to clean and detail my classic MG Midget. I was impressed with the enthusiasm and care, my car looked like it did when it left the showroom back in 1997! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
